Just wondering if these would pass as buyback.

That list does change and expand from time to time but I don’t think xeon is high on Boardsort’s priority.
Much like VIA does Xeon CPUs are one of Intel’s customisable products. The spreader stamps only tell part of the story. Much like Apple and Microsoft have ordered, there are hundreds of thousands of modified in factory chips out there, maybe millions. Such as the current 18 core CPUs with 12 active cores and 6 half active (boost) cores. Etc etc. Which makes buying them used as a business risky.
On the flip side if you KNOW they were working you could eBay them. The same thing that makes businesses cautious makes for some strange ebay bidding trends. I’ve seen a few brand new sealed $800 Xeons sell for $3k-$4000!
The unlock the cores game et al.
:)

I may sell as used on ebay while notifying these are not tested and all risk goes to buyer (as I don't have the equipment).

If no buyers after a while I'll just scrap um.

That’s the way to do it!
I can’t tell you which and what goes for how much easily but they range from $1 to thousands

For these:
The first one looks to be in the $3-5 range

Second one $5-$15

Third one $5-$35

The e (last one) looks like a hack able one. Hence the bizarre range. This one’s all look like under $10 or over $20 for individual CPUs. With the occasional bin at $14.99.
All Over the last 36 months.

Some buyers want one that fits in their board. Some are foolishly trying to refine these for gold in their basements or garage.
Some people want one the hack the ... out of to do what intel says you can’t do. ;)
