if a board is brown does that automatically make it low grade or does it make a difference if there are more ic chips on it does that make it mid-grade and in printers the board that has the laser where would that be classified as i will post a picture as soon as i have it thank you

There are a few rare examples of brown boards that we will buy as Peripheral Grade. The brown board from a floppy drive is a good example. We will buy it as Peripheral if it has a gold plated connection (where the ribbon cable plugs into).

Most brown board however is low grade. Like I said, there are rare occasions where this is not true. If you suspect you may have a brown board that would qualify as a better grade (it is low profile and has gold pins or ic's) feel free to post a picture here or in email and I will let you know.
