Anyone know how many pounds of these things you can fit into a large flat rate USPS box?

The size and weight of the individual chips will determine how many will fit in the flat rate box. I would put a plastic bag in as a liner, then put the chips in it so if the postal service mutilates the box during shipping, your chips won't fall out. I don't know the dimensions of a large USPS flat rate box, but I believe you can stuff ten pounds of chips in it and be able to ship it with little risk of damage.

I'm going to say 15-20 pounds in a large flat rate. 1 pound of them almost fills a standard coolwhip bowl.

kgryczan makes an awesome suggestion with the plastic bag. It WILL happen. Those flat rate boxes do bust at the seams during shipment.

Absolutely bag all small items (memory, cpus, ic's..etc) when you ship. Nothing worse than leaving $50 worth of material behind on the floor of the shipping truck.

Treat your shipping containers as if they contain GOLD. Because they do.

Yes, we would buy broken IC's, as long as it is obvious that the chips are not broken because they have been processed. If the entire lot of chips are broken, we would be weary and have to ask why.

ok so it would be more valuable to remove the ic's from low grade but not high grade correct?
