I get these from hard drives I tear up wondering if any part is bought by boardsoft

I see what might be an iC on each one would it be better to send one for boardsoft to inspect.?

Trim the plug ends off and sell those with your cable ends. The windings I would break off and place with the appropriate metal type. Any gold colored ones I would send in for analysis for possible sale as gold pins. The rest is aluminum and can be sold to your local scrap yard.

I was referring to the windings that are on the opposite end of the read-write heads on the actuator arm. I've seen them with copper, silver, and gold color. If copper, I break them off and put in the #2 copper bucket. The silver and gold ones I set to the side.

I only have two or three pounds of them Ive kept them from only the last couple hundred hard drives Ive taken apart. takes a lot of hard drives to make much scrap in some things I sold what cards I had total of six pounds nearly 150 hard drives LOL
