There are two boards that come out of this particular credit card terminal reader. From what I found on this forum, the board for the keyboard would be graded peripheral although I would hope it would go higher due to the gold content. However, can someone tell me how this other board would be graded? It has the lcd screen on it and on the back is the battery; which can't be easily removed unless cut as it's soldered to the terminal.

This particular board will go for Peripheral. The gold content isn't high enough to give it a higher grade. You may need to remove the screen and the battery.

602bridgeway is right. Not enough IC or plating on there to give higher than peripheral. The battery does need to be removed as it poses a fire hazard to the shipping company and to boardsort upon processing. The LCD is worthless so it needs to go. The LCD may have an adhesive holding it in place and should be easily removed with a flathead screwdriver. The battery appears that it will come loose if you take a flathead screwdriver and bend up on the metal contact going to the exposed positive side of the battery.
