I have this processor stuck to a heat sink. Should I remove it? Is there a grade as is?

i would try to remove the heat sink with a flat head screw driver

I use a heat gun to loosen the paste.
Chris always suggested boiling them.
I would advise against anything more than gentle poking or prodding with a screw driver. Breaking one into too many pieces can be a grading disaster.

As is you would most likely get AMD aluminium cap ceramic, minus a minor deductible
