Lost, In the first picture of the original post of the first board. There's a gold capped IC. Could that be removed to go under a different category? I'm half asking for him but also asking for myself as I have a Telco board with 2 chips similiar to that one. Should they be removed and added to a different sort?

I totally missed that little guy: updated post accordingly.
First photo peripheral with the CPU on the board: without it midgrade
That's a major fluke of a board. There's no real room for jumping from midgrade to telco. But it's honestly up to Chris et al on that.

You could remove it, the board drops to midgrade.
Without the legs the gold cap chips tend to fall into pentium/mac ceramic MOST of the time. it's far better to have the legs, however, in the case of soldered chips, you're probably better off leaving them on the board and taking the gold cap chip board rate 99.999999999~ such boards get, see above for missing 0.0000~1% of boards.
