Newbie here, need help identifying what I have exactly. I have a lot of stuff and a lot of pictures but will not overload this post with all that. Please identify, small or large socket, high or low grade, and if anything else needs to be removed. Thank you so much in advance for anyone's help.

1563)small socket
1562)small socket
1561)mixed small and metal sockets

Large socket:
1 and 3/4 inches or more from pinhole to pinhole
Slot Processor Motherboards are considered Large Socket

Small Socket:
will have a measurement of 1 and 1/2 inches or smaller

Metal Socket:
hinged metal enclosure, pins are IN the socket

I BELIEVE that dual style, half pin half hole sockets are considered small socket

removing the metal clasps and mounts does NOT change the socket class.

Remove all batteries.

post with photos is here

Thank you for replying to my post regarding the different categories. Even though the metal clasp that holds the CPU in place is removed, I can still consider it metal socket. I know now not to remove the metal socket part. I will be posting other pictures later today. Thanks again. Excited for my first Boardsort Shipment. Thanks

Those mixed LGA/PGA sockets have two designs. One with metal brackets (intel and AMD) and one with a plastic socket and metal bar (IBM, VIA, StaR)
Boardsort employees know the difference even if I don’t always spot them; they’re graded accordingly.
So yes, removing the socket brackets simply makes the board weigh that much less. ;)
as I said i believe the plastic ones will be small socket, regardless of size.
