I discovered your site here via a You Tube video about scrapping. I'm hoping you all will be kind enough to tell me what this stuff is!! The picture shows just a few but I bought a jar full of this stuff at an estate sale. Some older guy had a garage full of recyclables so I'm guessing he was saving these for something? I bought them to add interest to jewelry pieces. Realized I better make sure they aren't

dangerous or toxic before I started gluing them to stuff!! The mason jar of them is full and very heavy for it's size.
Thanks so much for telling me what this is if you know! And....what a fun site this appears to be - can't wait to spend some time nosing around in here!
Thanks, Sue

Those are Monolithic Ceramic Capacitors, hard to find a buyer for as I have 50ish pounds of them and have found a buyer yet. Mainly good for silver recovery.

Have a great day!

If you're good with chemistry, you can try refining the silver and palladium out using HCl and nitric acid.

I've learned a bit about that since my post...a Lot of You Tube videos on the subject I discovered!
I'm a little terrified of all those chemicals...certainly not a chemistry person! I'm guessing the cost for the chemicals and set up would far exceed the value of what I have!!!
