I've taken apart several Computer power supply units and while the board, i can see, is low grade i noticed that they are fairly heavily populated.

Is there anything in these boards that I could/should pull off before scrapping the rest of it?

I remove the aluminum heat sinks and the one or two ic chips. Some folks remove all the copper bearing motors but where I live I only get 15 cents a pound so I leave them on the board because I get 10 cents for the board.

The CBMs with visible copper on them you can take off and either unwind the copper wire or smash with a hammer and then sell that as copper.

The toroidal coils, which are the circular transformers with the copper exposed can be broken with pliers and the copper easily pulls apart. The inner core is ferrous, so it goes with your heavy melt steel.
