Can the larger board go for backplane? The slots are not gold plated at all. I am leaning more towards mid grade since there's not much of value there.

If you have poundage some will pay Light board which is slightly higher than PCI cards (Gold finger card with bracket) but if only a few BS has been classifing these as mid grade on my last few shipments.
