I have some ribbon cables that came out of printers. The ones with the silver colored tips, I was wondering if they are silver or just coated that color? Same for the gold colored tipped ones - are these gold?

Thanks for any help.

If you are selling to boardsort I think you can toss those along with the other wires (copper) from computers. In your second pictures the green ribbon to the right looks like silver mylar from a keyboard or other keypad and those I don't think boardsort buys it. I have sold them on ebay before for so little money that it is not worth scrapping keyboards at all. We are talking a few pennies per keyboard mylar. Better spend that time prospecting for computer scrap.
