I pulled a bunch of these from some boards. I snipped one and it looks the same color on the inside as the outside. How would you test it to see if it is solid gold or just plated copper?

They are definitely not solid gold. They are likely gold plated only however you can send a private message to Chris to give you a quote. They are not cable ends so you may get a better price.
