I'm guessing mid-grade on the board itself since there are few to no IC chips on the board. It may pass as peripheral if the cable connector has gold plating on the pins.

As for the other items, the yellow and black capacitors may contain a rare metal called tantalum. I don't know if boardsort will buy tantalum by itself, but may point you to someone who will if boardsort does not buy it.

That board is going to grade as Midgrade. As correctly observed there is no population on that board and the small connector would not be enough.

As far as tantalum, we do not buy it online as it is too difficult for us to correctly identify each type of capacitor and maintain an acceptable accuracy rate.

Feel free to share the buyer here kgryczan. Perhaps if we see more of a demand we can begin to make online offers for the tantalum capacitors.

Any advice on identifying tantalum capacitors?

They are usually a dark yellow color and have markings as to which side receives the positive charge coming from the board. We all should know more about tantalum in the coming month as Mike the Scrapper announced on his Facebook page that he is working on a video specifically on tantalum and flatpack chips. I highly recommend that anyone reading or posting here check out his channel on youtube as he does a great job describing how to get top dollar scrapping pretty much anything.

Thanks for the help. This is the only page on escrap I've found with any useful info. It really helps beginners like me.

What's the grade on this one? It's from a Casio keyboard.
