start sorting...

you can try to set something up with chris, but they will charge you a sorting fee or maybe give you a flat offer.

also, how much did you break things down?

I’ve been in that esoup situation before myself.
The best thing to do is read through the forum posts and use the front page gallery.
Take it one board at a time. Once you get into it it goes faster than you’d think.

Let’s do this one photo at a time
Top photo first. On the sell to us link on the top of each page you’ll find a grid in a much more logical layout than the gallery and price sheet pages.
First what has classes:
Top left is a bunch of cell phone boards
Top right some hard drive boards
Centre: the three pin pieces Boardsort doesn’t buy loose. To their right is a bunch of generic ICs that go in IC class. ICs must have 6 or more pins.
The two laptop cards above the ICs will go as gold finger cards.
Bottom gold finger ram and silver finger ram have their own classes. The gold flashed square board will go as peripheral.
The random metalcomponents Boardsort doesn’t buy.

Boardsort has two cell phone classes. Cell phone with battery which includes sealed phones like the iPhone, and cell phone without battery.
Boardsort also buys cell phone batteries loose as long as: it is a lithium battery, has gold contacts, and is NOT BULGING in any way. You must tape over the contacts as well. “Scotch” or magic tape from works best. Don’t use electrical tape.

Many mixed boards. I’ll be back on this later peripher, small socket green motherboards, large socket, gold finger cards. I’ll come back to this.

Duplicate photo

AMD ceramic CPU, Pentium ceramic cpu, some green fibre CPUs, if they have metal tops they go as with metal. No metal goes as without metal.
And the ICs, with no pins and the gold corners will get green fibre without metal.

That last photo. Boardsort doesn’t have a posted class for gold pins as their is no preset price. They do buy them as part of an order though.
When you fill out an order quote male note of the number for your order on the printout. Email Chris that number (subject order number xxxyyynnn additions)
And let him know you are sending pins. Make SURE the pins are secured. Pill bottles work best.
When they receive them Boardsort will scan them and determine the metal content in the pins and pay you based on all the metals and their ratios. That will be added to your payment for the boards and you’ll get a notice (most of the time) that says we’ve included $xx.yy for your pins.
