Never delid pinless. It’s totally pointless. You then have pinless, and a cap. Which may be copper but is usually aluminium or occasionally tungsten.

Excluding older ceramic pinless (often copper) and AMD (known for copper tungsten spreaders) I’ve yet to find intel or via or ibm PINLESS with anything other than aluminium
