In the photo, I have a number of non-SATA hard drive boards from some older 5.25" hard drives and on the back side of the circuit boards, there are the non-gold plated 4 pin molex connector (lower left) and a relay (upper right). Provided I do not damage other components on the board would it be acceptable to remove these two components in order to greatly increase my packing density in my shipping box?

You can if you want to, but they do add weight in the payout.
