 Post subject: depouplation of borads

Do boards of any grade still hold any value to boards sort if they have had a number of there components depopulated? if not damaged.

more than likely, boards will be downgraded if components are removed. One example is a telecom board. If you depopulate all the IC chips, you will have a pile of IC chips and a board that is now mid-grade at best. The question you need to ask yourself before doing that type of work is if you will profit more separating the components vs selling the board as-is.
