If I remove the IC chips, easy copper, etc from boards before sending them to you guys, do I get paid less?

Is it even worth my time to remove them?

Thanks!

Removing ic chips always lowers the board class

if the IC chips are in sockets, it is okay to remove them... if you remove ones that are soldered into the board than you will get downgraded.

In most cases, it is only worth removing chips from mid-grade boards and lower.

true. You can always pull out anything from a socket. Within reason.
Keep in mind though a telco board of socketed chips is worth $3.65/lb today.
Ic chips are also $3.65/lb.
So you are left then with less weight in ic chips and a peripheral board.
Again removing ic chips ALMOST ALWAYS lowers your values word to the wise only remove gold pinned socketed ics like processors and gold capped chips. Everything else you're loosing money.
