The easiest way is to use an external FC dock.

That excluded this seagate FAQ has some good methods for a build out.

In all honesty if you're not set up for FC to begin with and don't intend to make a habit of dealing with them: Take them apart. Wipe the big hard drive magnet over the bare platters a few times to wipe the data. Aside from the heads and aluminium and stainless shell boardsort will buy everything inside. Keep the awesome powerful magnet for your bench.

Fc is nothing more than optical scsi.

A dock is probably your best bet short of adding an FC card to your computer.
They can be had for under $100 for FC to lightning and FC to FireWire.
FC to USB docks are usually in the $50-100 range.
Docks can handle far more connect/disconnect cycles than a loose adapter will.

The link to the FAQ gives you specific part numbers and a link to a site to more or less build your own adaptor.

Good luck.
