Obviously on the tested cpu program, one would want to ship the CPUs as securely as possible so they remain functional in transit. On the No Pin side of things though, one would assume that since they are scrap, tossing a hundred of them in a box haphazardly is ok, since they're just going to be broken down for nickel, gold, etc.

Is this accurate?

Do verify your no pin CPUs against the list. Many on the list have no pins.

But yes, junk is junk. Haphazardly is probably not the term I'd use. Randomly, without much thought, destructively even...! But haphazardly makes me think of a trail of processors falling out of your box in a perfect line from your location to Boardsort, like bread crumbs to follow.

Ok, sorry but I have to say this, after I get done laughing. My first thought was that there had to be a lot of processors in that box for someone to be able to follow a trail from shipper to Boardsort but what a payout that would be. Then my next thought was man what a size that box must be just to hold them at the start. I am still laughing. Again sorry but I had to post this comment.

Sorry did the reply just after wiping out 60 hours of spam and that was the perfect opportunity to have a laugh.

Danke!

I will abandon the haphazard box filling technique for something much more orderly... filling the voids with packing peanuts and cross-cut shredded documents. I'll make sure to mention LostInLoDOS as my packaging muse! ;)
