Hello
So I have another question ,
I have low grade boards out of power supplies and I know they are worth more when I remove the heat sinks and copper of course. But my question is what is the best way to dismantle them? Can I break in half or pieces ? Will boardsort still accept low grade boards in that condition?
Thanks for your time

As long as all the pieces are low grade, boardsort will take them broken. It's when you have broken boards that are of higher grade that you worry about getting full price for the board. I've broken many low grade boards recovering transformers and heat sinks

Question becomes does transport justify payout. If I can not reasonably gain a minimum of $15 per hour for my effort then it just goes into the shred as filler for microwaves or any other void that needs filling Basicaly that boils down to the transformer needs to be about 1 lb ( $ .15) or not worth the time to pull.
work smart not hard or your better off flipping burgers.
