Can I ship from Canada to Boardsort?
I filled in the address info and used the Canadian equivalents to the state and ZIP code.

If I am able to ship, is there a previous topic posting that outlines what requirements are needed when shipping from another country, such as: Commercial Invoices, FCC forms, declaring the items are for sale, etc?

When I get paid, will it be in USD funds, or CAD?

Depending on the amount of boards you have to send. You can use Canadian Post to send to Boardsort you would have to check with them for the paperwork of course. I have been told by some custom brokers trying to ship scrap boards into the US without being shredded is near impossible because of the paperwork what I was told that if they werent shredded would have to know were each and evvery item was mfg.

If you live near the boarder and dont have enough to declare (under 99lbs) the best choice is to hop over the boarder and ship it fedex (over 30lbs) or usps parcel (under 30 lbs) or flat rate (over 20lbs but fits in flat rate box).
There's a post with help for shipping from within Canada...

It needs to be Canada flat rate boxes.

Give Excir works in alberta a call. They pay based on the actual gold on the boards. More than twice on average of any other buyer i have gotten a quote from!

Ah! Sometimes I wish it was possible with the same day courier service. My sister lives there and I love my niece and nephew. I keep looking for good services to send gifts to them on immediate and urgent basis. Anyways, this was quite informative.

Same day services are going to charge you well beyond the value of scrap for anything except the highest categories; specifically 8086 and 386/486 classes.
And with those two classes flat rate Fedex 1-day or dhl 2-day with precleared customs forms are a better choice when you look at insurance from them vs getting your own coverage when using a courier.
