I searched the forum and didn't really find an answer, approx. How many lbs of boards can I expect to fit in a Gaylord or stacked pallet of boxes

Some examples from others previous shipments? Especially peripheral boards, which I expect have a much lower packing density with larger components

Most generic gayloard pallets are rated for 800-2000 lbs. depending on brand and materials.
A GL filled with Cable box boards will probably reach low end weight limits before full. But a GL of trackpads normally won’t pass 500lbs packed flat.
I’m sure Chris has a better answer. And there’s some commercial sellers if anyone wants to weigh in. Pardon the pun.
But depending on board type you can fit a few hundred to a few thousand pounds in a GL. A GL of DDRx ram, for example, will easily pass the weight maximum for the GL if packed carefully. And be non-shipable. You’re unlikely to get to the max on TV power supplies due to the large inconsistency in girth.

Ultimately that’s a convoluted way to say I don’t know. ;)
I’ve never tried shipping, or hauling, a single gayloard of escrap boards.
I do know the AMD RX breakaway pallets weigh apx 2100 lbs. but that includes the packaging of the card boxes and a plastic pallet.

...and more specifically the board inside them.
