Has anyone ever sold the little actuator PCB's inside a SATA hard drive? The pins look a little yellow and I am assuming they are coated with gold. If you have experience selling these, what is the ballpark yield per pound one can expect?

Be best if you posted a photo
By actuator board I thought you meant the polymer flex board about an inch long and a few microns thick. But then you said pins... And lost me.

I know its easy to do, but don't get too carried away with trying to id every little board. When you send this stuff in, it goes to the guys at the dock who literally sort a couple THOUSAND pounds a day each. last thing they are going to do is inspect every tiny board and weigh up a bunch of small lots that are a couple ounces a piece.

if it is smaller than a cell phone, just throw it in with peripheral unless it has gold fingers. Because I can tell you from experience, that's what they are going to do.

Now, If you 5+ pounds of something good, then shoot Chris an email and see what he says.
