We hit a wall. We ran out of room and our buyer for 5+ pallets of projectors just fell through. They are all functional, a mix of DLP and LCD, mostly education-grade. My other partners just want to drop them off at the local wm facility and get what we get, so I am trying a Hail Mary first. Does anyone buy these in bulk? Thanks!

Yes, ebay!
$20 each on the low end. I know; space—time.
But ebay! If you want to dump them for space reasons pull the bulbs and ebay those. Projector bulbs start at $5-$10 and some can be triple digits for the bulbs alone.

Projectors are one of those flukes where when fully working (excluding very recent and very old) they’ll be worth more as individual parts than as whole working units. They’re not quick sales but there’s definitely a higher return on parts.

Bottom line auctions for 50 working projectors for $500 is a rather common ebay find.

Thanks lostinlodos, eBay is where I have started selling them by the pallet yet 4 out of the last 5 people that have purchased a full pallet have fallen through and I am getting frustrated. They do sell individually, but slowly. Since scrapping that lot we have acquired another hundred. I will try listing matching functional bulbs in bulk, see if shipping rates are the deterring factor.

The bulb is what makes a use working projector worth money.

I understand the fallout rate though. Have had a few myself do that over time. Especially on vhs tape lots and larger electronics lots.

I suggest you get a shipping quote for the pallet weight before posting and mention the estimate in the listing if you offer to ship it.
Pickup only is dicey. Sometimes they show; sometimes they don’t. If I offer local pickup I usually call the buyer, work a time range on the phone and request partial payment before arriving
If they fall through or back out I require THEM to request a cancellation. That way it doesn’t hurt my account at all and I get all the fees refunded.

I'm a little late but, I have seen those same types of projectors in single to 5, 10+ in lots and the sell for crazy amounts of money.

If you still have them and your close to Texas and interested I can give you the online auctions I buy thru.
