Good luck all. These can be great sources of under priced scrap.

I see lots of laser printers. If you have the time there’s real value in those. And not just as scrap but as parts. Empty toner carts start in the $5 range in general regardless of age.
Bunch of HPs. Looks like the early 2000s on most. Some dells in there too. So a mix of socketed CPUs and LGA pinless. Boards will be small socket from what I can see from the photos. Some monitors. Keep in mind they add weight of little value. Texas has tough lead laws so keep that in mind.
Maybe a few xerox units. Those are worth a bit. Lots of low end stuff too but I do see a mid 90s hp so a hope for gold cap cpu from that.

I was wondering if anyone else was looking at govdeals. I have been dealing with them for over eleven years now. For the most part now more so than before if you are looking for escrap it will go too high to make a profit. The better loads go to the big boys and I think over seas to be refurbished or sold as part replacements. The little guy can pick up small loads here and there if too much trouble for big boys to pick due to distance traveled and time consumed. The best deal I ever got was a $5000 modular desk system like new for $116. For the most part I was able to upgrade and keep upgrading my personal use computers and those for my family including daughter and two grandkids far cheaper than going to the electronic stores because not looking for scrap but personal use. I have also sold about 20 units for a good profit with the advent of free windows 7 upgrade to windows 10 but that is done now. I also was able to double my money on some 800 lbs of copper stripped wire. All this information is to say that there are deals to be had with them but you have to be smart about what you pay for lots and don't get caught up into the competition of the action. Yes I do have about 400 scrap computers some of which was bought at right price, some added items gained along with upgrade computers. Sorry about this being long winded.

Well that’s rather annoying! This is a steal! But it’s like 20 hours away from me.

Before you guys think you are really on to something, wait until about 2 hours before the auction ends. You'll see it's not quite as good of a secret as you think at this point.......nevertheless, there a some really great deals on there if you can navigate teh site and arrange pickup.

wow, that did go for low.

Alright Mr. Lost-in-Lodos,
Here's a query for that hamster running mach3 on that little wheel up there, what would you bid, estimated of course, for, oh, something like this:

129 Dell OptiPlex 990 CPUs,
8 Dell OptiPlex 780 CPUs,
1 Dell OptiPlex 760,
3 Dell OptiPlex 745 CPUs,
1 Dell OptiPlex 755 CPUs,
11 Dell OptiPlex 790 CPUs,
3 Dell OptiPlex 960 CPUs,
1 Dell OptiPlex 320 CPUs,
1 Dell OptiPlex 9020 CPUs,
3 Dell OptiPlex 9010 CPUs,
1 Dell OptiPlex 380 CPUs.
29 Dell latitude E6420,
5 Dell Latitude E6430,
Dell Latitude E6440.
3 Dell Inspiron.
1 Dell Precision T3500.
7 Dell XPS.
4 PowerEdge 2590.
1 PowerEdge 805.
1 Dell Precision T3400.
10 Monitors.
1 HP LaserJet 4250N.
7 Cisco Catalyst Switch 2960.
10 Cisco Catalyst Switch 2950.
1 Cisco 2800. 1 Cisco 3500.
2 Cisco Wireless Controller 4400.
5 boxes of keyboards, mice and Dell power cords. 1 Cannon XL1 Video Camcorder. 4 Dell monitor stands and 1 computer stand.

Im thinking the whole lot is probably worth $4k between board sort and the local yard?

Can I your get your thoughts?

As always, you're the man.

P.S. Have you thought of changing your handle to "losinDOS", like the operating system? Its what I think everytime I see you name;)
