What can I remove for the board without it messing with the prices

Batteries, heat sinks, and extraneous metal. :p

If you pull things off like ic chips, pins, and such you will run the risk of downgrades rather quickly... I would avoid removing most anything soldered to the board. They are okay with removing CPU's and IC's that are in sockets as they have their own classifications.
