Hello, I am new here.
I was wondering if single 18650 batteries are bought for e-scrap at the same rate as laptop batteries. I have a decent collection of them from various e-bikes and power tools that don't hold a charge well anymore. Some still put out a decent voltage, might sell them on ebay or re use them. As far as shipping them, is wrapping each cell in kapton tape with cardboard dividers how it should be done?

Not likely but you’ll need to email them directly.
I believe most of not all fall into the dry cell class. Which boardsort doesn’t buy

I sold some batteries to my scrap yard, only paid 0.15 per pound. Might differ in your area.
