Does anyone know how to test these?
I don’t have them in hand yet, so all I know as of right now is the HDD’s have been wiped.

Your issue is going to be getting the os onto it.
You’ll need an external 2x-16x cd drive. Or and internal to external adaptor.
Usb 2.0, FireWire, or micro SCSI

Download XP Pro to CD (use a legitimate copy, like from Microsoft or internet archive, or old soft).
Plug the Drive into the unit. Hook up the monitor, pop the disc in, and do a HARD RESET.

Install windows.
Open internet explorer. Download a hardware tear suite from gethub et all. Many powerful free ones.
Install and run tests.

Fairly common units. Basically embedded computers with some add on cards in a semi-portable box.

I was asking about them powering up and making sure they are operable, before I scrap them :)

I’m not sure they will have the monitors or not. I’m thinking I can use a desk top monitor to test them.

That’s a sun breakout connector. Carries RGB, DVI, usb, and 2 channel audio.

If no monitor is included you can always pick up an adapter for under $30

On power you’ll need a 15 amp portable power adapter and D.C.-AC inverter box. (Ignore the port stamp, you need 15 amps, not 16. Which is why the cable fuse is 15amp)

Depending on how many you are getting— it may be worth it. These computers run $40-$60 each.

Fixing hardware is fairly straight forward. It’s just a standard embedded ATX design very close to the VIA board layout.
