When taking pictures of material for shipping, how should I take pictures of the material? I have various types and sizes of several categories, should I take pictures of boards in boxes or should I take pictures of each type of boards from each category?

Generally it doesn't matter as long as the photos are representative of the shipment.
The general idea is not to have someone ship in 30 lbs of power supply boards as telco and not find out the error till the following Thursday.

Lol yeah I could see the surprise on someone's face thinking a box was telco, when opened its power supplies.

I don't think the care. But poor Chris et al then need to deal with the senders rage when they break the news. That's a conversation I'd never want to initiate.
'I'm sorry you're hundred dollar order is worth $10'.

In all honesty there is no excuse to make a mistake like that with the forum and all the help available with identifying material here. Some mistakes I can understand and would expect, but not the kind in the example given lol.

Since I have never sold anything to board sort yet, I was wondering with say 50 different boards that go as peripheral. I was thinking surely they don't want me to send 50 pictures.

That's honestly what it's there for though, to make sure any grading issues are covered upfront.
Ideally you'd send a top down photo of each box. No they aren't looking for 90+ photos.

you also want to take individual pictures of anything that isn't on the official buy list.
official list is the online quote ...
http://boardsort.com/instant/quote.php
there are items that they will buy but cant be quoted because value differs radically always good to ask here about anything that looks gold, silver or is unique
---------------------
it has come in handy 1 time in the past but that was more fed-ex packing then Boardsort ..
