As long as it has gold contacts it would fall under cell phone battery

I have a Li-ion battery similar to the one below It doesn't have any visible gold connectors. Is there anything BoardSort can do with it?

On cell phone batteries and those of that size without gold contacts the answer is always no.
With larger ones like laptops and UPS systems, there’s still a chance they’d be interested.

If you don’t have the gold contacts you would need to email Chris a photo of the actual battery in question for a yes or no from him.

That battery was actually about the size of a cell phone battery except it was about three times as thick. It did have gold contacts on the other side. It came out of a hand held barcode scanner.

You’d be good on cell phone battery then.
I figured it was a camcorder pack which often have silver contacts So not too far off.
