Greetings, my name is Eric. I am a high school student based out in Trenton, NJ and have recently decided to join the escrapping scene. I know quite a bit about how scrapping works, with prior experience scrapping precious metals from cables with my father. Right now, I decided to scrap on my own as a means of having some cash in my pocket. I am looking for some assistance from a couple of members on this forum with the hopes of being able to one day venture out on my own.

Many thanks,
Eric

Hi Eric.

You can start by reading many of the posts here.
you can search questions you may have online.
You can search on Youtube for scrapping videos.
Obviously you need a vehicle to pick up things you can get for free. For instance, I pick up items I have find on my way to/form work.
Check ads on Craigslist for free items you can either resale or scrap to sell to Boardsort.

Hello Eric,

I am in NJ myself, Milltown area. If you want to reach out let me know and I will drop you my email. Been in the e-waste industry 8-10 years (2 years data destruction, but subbed in R2 recycling).

I can help out as much as possible!
