If you are asking about the 5 black items on the right side of that board, then yes. Check out the thread below.

About 90% of the time the board itself is actually labeled with what each component is. I see writing but can't make it out in the picture. More than likely it will read "IC (and then a number)" next to each one. This trick will help you to learn to quickly identify each by sight down the road.

It says t6 i see what your talking about when you say its labeled I see it labeled on other boards. I was also wondering if i take off the IC chips on a hard drive board or a cd rom board is the board go for the same value? and if i take off a few chips is it the same value?

Also there are two chips that look exactly the same and one says IC and a number and the other chip is on the other side of the board and is not labled IC chip would it still be considered an IC chip?

Be careful if you are harvesting IC chips. Once all the chips are removed, you may end up having a lower grade board, depending on what's left on it. Based on the photo, the board is peripheral grade, but the heatsink in the middle of the board needs to go. I'm guessing there's a flatpack under it, and that may keep the board at peripheral grade. If there's a regular IC chip on it and it is harvested, you will be left with a mid grade board. One thing to consider if you are harvesting the more valuable components is if the value of the now downgraded board plus the value of the components removed is worth more than the board at the original grade.
