What do yall think a good price would be to pay for 860 pieces full complete hard drives? Not scrap condition I do not believe. Look like server HDs. And is there a buyer for HD motors other than just the local yard as electric motors?

Normally, unless it's a sas drive, I'd be just under $1 each for hard drives.
Sas drives are worth more and may be worth a more expensive gamble.

The only time I'd try selling motors that work is when they're the type that are screwed in to the shell.

Theres about 750 of SAS Drive 146GB 15K 2.5" with caddy.
Are those aluminum shelled? How many logic boards to a pound?

Then there are 25pcs of SAS Drive 300GB 15K 3.5" brand new in factory box.

While I don't normally sell drives whole; sas controllers are worth $$ when working.
With that many I'd suggest an inexpensive sas to USB converter and pluging them in. If the drive powers up pull the board and sell the board on ebay, hard drive exchange etc.
And scrap the drive. I never sell drives whole because you have no control over shipping and the chances of one going bad along the way is very high.

I am assuming the SAS drive cases are cast aluminum as well?

Many if not most will be aluminium but like all hard drives some will be manganese or magnesium or even some alloys.

I've no way of estimating a weight for you because there's literally many dozens of styles of boards. Full length, half length, quarter length split flip boards etc.

Brand new in box is probably worth the risks selling since they're fairly well protected in pressed board cardboard. And the prices go well. Try Amazon trade in (credits on Amazon) . Look it up by both models and upc. Try variations on models. You need an exact match but not everything is listed correctly
or send an email to abundatrade or Decluttr. They both may be interested in brand new.
Cry (webuy) may also be interested.
There's repower and even tiger direct may be interested so hop on your email and start sending feelers.
All else fails they WILL sell on ebay. Brand new fairly well.

Depending on many factors the retail rate is between $50-$175 for 300 15 SAS

Just got contacted by a guy who supposedly has half a 18 wheeler box full of old mid 90s AST Bravos with intel processors. Offered him $2.50ea for whole computers not missing anything. Those have the i486 chips in them I believe. Trying to figure out how many chips it takes to make 1 pound. More pics coming tomorrow. Hope this is another big score!
