Just looking to classify these. Some of the cell phones boards are broken where would they fall?

The big finger card looks like chromium nickel. And there's no ICs on the gold finger card. The blank is silver nickel copper.
All are peripheral

29/30
Those creaton boards are always debatable. Top one is definitely peripheral. Bottom left (top/face view) is probably peripheral and bottom right is probably telco

27/28
Top left is peripheral
Bottom two are telco
Top right is at least telco. However I'd personally cut off the capacitor and put it in cell class. It's definitely a high grade board

25/26
Textbook telco

23/24
All cell phone board class
And with that batch I'd definitely be tossing the one from 28 in ON TOP with a small postit saying think so.

Hi Lostinlodos,

Thank you again for the help. I wanted to ask what the downgrade would be if I cut the gold fingers off the card in pic 33/34. I only have 9 of them. I have a pile of gold fingers but it is less than a pound and I am thinking this would be a good way of adding a little bit of weight.

So I went ahead and cut the fingers, figured I could afford the risk. :-)

So the cards complete came to 3.2oz@$1.25/lb = .25

The gold fingers alone weighted in at .2oz@$28/lb = .35

With the fingers gone I guess they would fall to mid-grade so
3oz@$.20/lb = .04

So it is $.25 complete compared to $.39 separated.

Not worth in my mind for this volume. If I was better at math I would extrapolate values for a higher volume.

Ok, I think I figured out some math.

The gold fingers represent 6.25% of the weight of the complete card.

So if we had 160oz(10lbs) of these untrimmed. That would yield 10oz of fingers, and 150oz of mid-grade.

Trimmed:
10oz@$28/lb = $17.50
150oz@$.20/lb = $1.87
Total = $19.37

UnTrimmed:
160oz@$1.25/lb = $12.50
Total = $12.50

So if my math is correct for 10lbs of these cards which have gold fingers, but do not qualify as GFC you would earn an extra $6.87 by trimming.

Worth it?
