no... peripheral is almost always green on both sides... those top boards are mid grade at best, probably low grade if you rip the chips off.

The middle ones should make peripheral since they are green on both sides... there isn't much in the way of components, but i think you are okay.

the bottom one should get peripheral easily.

The main difference between mid-grade and peripheral is the board type... boards that are green on both sides have a significant amount of copper sandwiched in board. Boards that are brown on one (or both) sides almost never have copper traces in the board... they are brittle, break easily, and generally use lower value components. That's why there is a large price gap.

If I remember my sources correctly, copper makes up around 40-50% by weight of green boards, so if you take that out of the equation, there is a significant loss of value.

I was thinking I had seen a post from Lost on mouse boards would go peripheral and sometimes higher in rare cases.
I was thinking it had something to do with the "eye".

Yes, those top top ones will go peripheral as well. Optical mice, be they led or laser, will go peripheral. Mechanical ball mice will not, Even when they are green.
The optical sensor and the support chip put it in the same category bend as floppy drive boards.

Note; Mouse Boards that get higher is extremely rare, very old, and often worth more as a collectible than any class of scrap.

Well then, you better send them to where lost has, because I have been bringing those for years and only getting midgrade Brown board for them.

This is why we have these forums, so the regulars can hash out issues virtually.

O no.....I started an argument lol.
Hopefully Chris can shed some light on this. I was pretty sure I had seen something about mouse boards before and tried searching for it with no luck. That's when I thought I would ask the more knowledgeable :)
