Silver legs and magnetic legs in their own two piles. Plated legs with the heatsink (plated copper/brass)

Silver your looking at $12 or so per imperial ounce.

Raw refined Nickel is currently in the $20 range so you can expect $4-$8 per pound for your pins depending on many factors

Plated brass is $2-$4 and plated copper is $2-$4.50 nationally, per lb.

Divide all by 16 for per ounce price. Most places that buy sub-pound (other than gold or higher value materials) usually require a 2 ounce minimum. That’s where the industry standard scale company accuteck scales start at.

Alright so pulled this off the back. The leg still attached isn't magnetic. Do I keep this intact or still cut the leg and what does this go as?

Sorry it'll click for me eventually :-)

Corners give away that it’s silver plated. Also looks like the unit is still attached on the flip side. Cut the leg of and trim any of the back that extends beyond the unit.
The leg and sink trimmings will go as silver plated brass/copper, the remaining component is usually taken as cbm or heavy silver breakage. Similar in price.

I initially tried to just clip the corners but the whole sink started to pull away from the ceramic so I figured heck why not lol

These all look a little different - still clip in the same spot and classify the same?

Hey, if you have a method have at it. Yes clip the same spots.

It’s simply a packaging design. Theoretically you can put anything you want in to. Resistors, inducers, inductors, transformers, fuses,
A 4004 at its lowest usefulness only needs 12 pins. So theoretically you could even package up a cpu in one of those designs.

Do these black things count as IC chips?

Those squarish silver looking things worth keeping?
