That one next to the memory sockets is the bridge chip. The cpu was where the bare squares are now. (Again unless it’s soldered directly under the bare squares on the back side, which is unusual but not unheard of). Flip it over and look. Will be a bit larger then the bridge chip. If it’s not there the board is peripheral rate.

Nope nothing on the back side. I wondered about that bare spot. I really thought that bridge chip was a green fiber CPU that was soldered in, since it looks just like the couple I have......lol

Bridge chips are usually green or black/blue fibre. There’s some bizarre ones out there though. Like red on some Asus boards and pink on the SEGA teradrive computers and Sony PS2 programming kits. And some via boards use white fibre chips under the aluminium spreaders.
