Would this be classified as gold fingered RAM?

I highly doubt it since gold fingered ram is graded only on RAM chips that have the gold finger contacts on one edge. On your example here, it appears that the slot was built into the chip and thus would need to be removed prior to refining. It may get knocked down to either RAMBUS or silver/tin fingered. I'll leave that to boardsort to decide which grade it should get.

What did the board come out of? It is not a RAM card for sure, almost looks like an old co processor card.

It is a cache card and it came off of a sun server board. It has good gold in the slot and cache is basically RAM is why I was thinking it might be classified as gold fingered RAM.

I'll let boardsort make the final decision, but I would give it rambus grade due to the plastic that needs to be removed prior to refining.
