I saw a few other posts on this that didn't really help me out...

What will board sort pay for gold plated connector pins that have been removed from the plugs and cleaned of all solder? Will they take them as clean fingers?

no they will not take them as gold fingers... that is what they call the male gold connectors on things like video/sound/PCI cards (like in the Boardsort.com logo at the top of the page). They have a pretty constant yield rate as long as they are close cut. what you are talking about are gold plated pin connectors. yes they will take them at a different rate that 'connector ends', but they have to see them to assess them. you would need to get ahold of chris for that info.

Gold pins need to be shipped with a quote order of some other item. They are scanned with an XRF unit that lists the exact quality and quantity of all materials in the pins; gold, nickel, iron, carbon, etc.
They then pay you based on the actual gold content of the pins.

Side question; evil... did you do that by hand or use an app.

I used to do ascii art but I cannot find a terminal level text program for modern systems that uses fixed width and height fonts using ascii. Everything saving it as <text> and it’s terrible on reopening later. Notepad++ was awesom in Windows 10 but it won’t compile with brew! :’(
