Question 1, am I correct that boardsort buys flatbacks as green brown fiber CPUs, or at that price. Question 2 is the price $.17 for floppy/cd/dvd drives tge same without the board, or does that matter? Alot of floppt drives I've sold as irony aluminum at my local yard for $.22/lb. Theres also bits of brass in botg drives. Does the board matter on that price, cuz i take mine out, be crazy not too.,I can sell my drives foe $.11/lb in tge sheet metal pile otherwise. Thanka, just need to know so I don't waste the little room I have to haul, materials up there.

As long as the chip has the gold corner on it, it will get the green fiber without metal grade on it. As for your other question, if you believe it's more profitable selling your floppy drives locally, then do so. Bear in mind that if you take apart floppy drives, the controller boards are bought as peripheral grade boards by boardsort, so take that into your consideration when calculating profitability.
