The gold finger card in the first post This is a telecommunications class board. A class Including many telephone/networking controllers, PCMCIA and compact flash cards. Open deshelled flash memory like SD. These cards are slightly more valuable than the gold finger class rate. This one isn’t there but some of these have a ‘secret’ class called air card. And on extremely rare occasions can even make it to cell class.
The second post, I assumed it was the same chip. If not the Epson card is telco and the other one is peripheral. That epson chip is a full fledged processor. The epoxy package instead of a ceramic one means the internal wire and etch matrix is more likely sliver, nickel, and copper; instead of the more valuable gold and nickel matrix found in ceramic ICs and many BGA chips.
