If you can get a clear shot of the label on it I can look up what it is and what to do with it to make it go away.

Omg. Lol
I’m looking at that picture thinking it’s some massive multi feet in diameter thing

It’s a transformer.

Two parts here
First use a knife to carefully cut through the plastic and find out if it’s actual copper spool.
If it is, you can sell it to a local yard as copper breakage of look into a way to unravel it yourself

third way: would be a regrettable shame to destroy it for the copper before selling it on ebay for maybe a couple hundred. New in package, serial number 058, new in the hundreds of dollars . Look up plitron salzer toroidal power transformer. Drawback is no large ones have sold on ebay recently, but some of the sellers who stock a wide variety may jump at the chance to snag a new, low serial number, item they don't have in stock, or maybe some wild eyed mad scientist is playing around with tesla coils and will want it (not that this has anything to do with Tesla Coils)
As for copper scrap value, some articles say to figure equal weight of iron core (permalloy) and copper windings but that doesn't necessarily hold true for smaller coils or all transformers. I generally expect no more than 25 % copper so I will be surprised at a larger payout. However, if you do use the 50/50 ratio for core weight, that means the overall core with copper wire will net about one dollar per pound, after separating the materials. In the case of 63 pounds, there would be roughly 30 pounds of copper at ~$2.00 per pound for $ 60 and 30 pounds of steel at >05 for $3.00 total about 63.
