What should I do with this piece..it came out of some kind of server...the pins are in heavy ferrite

Looks like a relay board.
You can leave them in if they're snug, and get a gold pin connector rate.
Or you can wiggle and tug them out for clean gold pin quotes.

Are those pins fused with something on the other side usually on these types of boards?

Sometimes. Sometimes they’re soldered into the bottom. Sometimes they have tiny little clips that slide into ridges, like a spring but based on friction instead.

Usually they’re slightly larger than the hole and are just hammered in.

They are not coming out easy..how but smash ferrite and pick out pins?
