Just a tip on posting the pics for ID. Speaking only as a fellow scrapper, it is extremely difficult to keep track of so many photos in one post. I counted about two dozen, and when Lostinlodos identifies, it is almost impossible to look back and find which one he is referring to. My personal preference is to post only two to four different boards in a single post for ID. Also, when you are disassembling units, it helps to have some boxes already labeled, say with CD-DVD boards in one box and Hard Drive boards in a separate box. This helps cut down the confusion when actually packing the material. Also, if you keep the other small boards marked with what device they came from, it again helps in the final classification.

I understand. Once identified, these will be going straight into properly labeled, separate bins I already have...I even mark them before they go in the bin to avoid confusion later. Normally, when I disassemble, things get sorted as I go. This particular handful came to me pretty much as is, all heaped into one big box.

Thanks for the advice

Great job evil.
Left side
Top ? Is large socket green
Middle is high telco
Bottom is peripheral

That one top right marked mid will probably make peripheral

A minor bump: the two marked cd:dvd
The top one is a hard drive board and will just sneak in as such
However the bottom is a floppy drive board or old st hard drive board. It goes as peripheral.
