I know Boardsort does not purchase these screens, but i am also aware that there are those out the who do purchase them. I've been saving all TV and monitor screens for a while now, but as they pile up, i have yet to find anyone who buys them.

Any recommendations on who?

I also have very little knowledge on these screens, so any tips would be much appreciated. Most of these screens are now cracked from when i took them apart. I hope that doesn't effect selling them.

Most buyers want them intact
If they’re cracked you are purely in the scrap category.
The buyers are out there on the interwebs but the market is so fluid I don’t make any recommendations at this time.
Tube screens run pennies
Lcd 25č-$1 Per lb
Plasma usually in the $1 range
Do NOT remove the aluminium block from plasma screens

My local yard buys them from select sellers and doesn’t take them publicly. For close to the above rates
Lcd the larger the screen the lower the rate
Plasma the larger the screen the higher the rate
It’s a glass vs chemical issue.

Buy lcd screen
Sell lcd screen
Buy broken lcd screen
Sell broken lcd screen
Buy broken tv
Sell broken tv

Etc. You need to go beyond the first two or three (or 10) pages before you get the real buyers and not just tech sellers who optimised for searching with key word bait.
I usually start on page 5. ;)

I am having zero luck with all of these searches. I can not find any company that buys the screens only for recycling purposes. Can you give me the name of a couple company's you've used in the past that i can search and check out?

https://www.lcdscreenrecycling.com/

http://screen-back.com/

Etc

I went into more details in a few other postings but a short recap:
Call locations...
Broken screen device buyers already have a system in place for selling broken screens. They may or may not buy your bare screens
Call them next month too.

Unless you don’t care, I no longer do, get something in writing (email). This is most volatile section of the escrap industry.

Make sure they’re licensed. Just make sure you don’t get a 20yr old YouTuber doing an open melt in a kiln in their back yard.

Thank you! I just sent both of them an email.

I really appreciate the help with this. I received a reply from one of them advising they do not by the screens only and they do not plan on doing so any time soon. I never received a reply from the other.

Can you give me any other recommendations? I will be sure to get in touch with them and secure before i ship anything out, as you advised.

Oops
That misunderstanding is exactly why I don’t normally post links.
Those weren’t recommendations. I haven’t used either one.
The intention was to point out you should find a place that buys broken screens of some sort and call. Eventually you’ll find one.
Before they shut down a local cell phone shop bought old vacuum displays from vhs players and calculators from me. They offered to buy my monitor displays but I never got around to it.
