Various tcon boards and some were attached to the screen. If not then what would they be classified?

In general these are only peripheral, there are so many iterations of them I'm sure there are exceptional ones that could pass into a high class, I haven't seen one yet, but it could happen

They are peripheral IF they have IC chips on them. No IC’s they are mid-grade.
