Hi everyone, I've been anonymously stalking the forum for a couple of months, while I've been digging through and ripping apart laptops..

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these mobile PII processors
They don't have traditional pins but it does have 2 smaller socket connectors.

Here is a link to a pic

Also I have some of these boards

Picture attached. The heat sink on it is gold plated but if you look below it you'll see that the Pentium MMX is integrated. It just the wafer floating in encapsulated gold wire.

Any help appreciated. Oh and again sorry if this ain't the right forum for this or if this question has been asked..

Thanks

Alright, well I was not at home when I got these photos LOL. So I found them online here is a better shot of the CPU integrated.

The forum where I got this other pic it was from 2013 apparently the Heatsink is gold plated copper!

Attatched is an image of the cpu.

Also I've attached an image of Laptop Cdrom boards
Anyone happen to know what those might be graded as?

Thanks

For the laptop cd/rom they may pass for telecom but you need to post a picture with the front and back to see if there are ic chips on both sides. The first cd board to the left is telecom for sure.

I forgot to mention that all motherboards from laptops are considered Large Socket Motherboard.

There processor you may want to do the same and take pictures from both sides.

There have been postings about laptop motherboards from laptops with the metal socket so I may think those will be a different grade (metal socket motherboard).
