Here are a few boards from inkjet printers. I'm guessing that 4# is peripheral since it's a WIFI card and the rest are midgrade.

Wow, I thought for sure that 1 and 2 were going to be midgrade. Could you tell me what makes them peripheral?

Here are closeups of 3 and 4. 3 has some gold flashing on it and 4 has some gold contacts in the middle. We'll see if that affects the grades.

One is a tough call. But two ICs. And a gold pin connector. No sub-valuing component weight. It’s close but I’d toss that in my peripheral bin

Two goes peripheral as default because of what it is. A modem. Just a long sanding default

There’s nothing I can further say on 3. I’d toss it in a midgrade box, right smack on top, wrapped in a small bag or paper towel that screams look at me. And hope that maybe they feel generous that day. ;)
It’s up to the guy at the dock that day and time.
But there is a chance. It’s definitely below peripheral.

Midgrade.

Thanks for the help. I would think that 4# would be closer to peripheral than 3# since 4 is a WIFI card and 3 doesn't really have anything of value.

And sorry about the closeup pictures. I uploaded them backwards. I had them the right way but for some reason I thought they were the wrong way and changed them. Oh well.

Here’s a secret you’ll run into at most yards including BoardSort.
I have no idea what’s underneath the plastic label.
“When in doubt don’t sell out”

As far as I can tell it’s a mid grade board with a sticker on it. I don’t get paid. And if I did I wouldn’t be paid to read the label unless someone asked me.
If it’s a WiFi card it’s likely peripheral and may even be (in this case) a low telco board.

Pardon my abruptness but it’s one of those lessons of life. From the photo it looks flat so I didn’t think to look any further.

Remove labels and repost
:)
